5 Manual Towing Receipt Options That Are Still Effectively Used Today

Blog / 5 Manual Towing Receipt Options That Are Still Effectively Used Today

It seems like forms and receipts have become largely electronic in nature – you can have your receipt from the home improvement store sent right to your email account, for example. Paperless billing options have proliferated. In-store registers spit out printed receipts for your purchases. However, there are still situations where the manual is the best option, particularly in the world of towing. It makes sense – you’re out in the field. To create a printed receipt, the customer would either have to come into the office, or you’d have to invest in expensive portable equipment, and then ensure your drivers know how to use it. Manual receipts are still the best and most effective option. Here are five examples that still pull their weight today.

Towing Receipts

Custom Road Service Towing Invoice

At 11 x 8.5, there’s plenty of space on this receipt for all the important details. It includes the standard date and time fields, as well as a release section, driver information, and plenty of vehicle information, too. There are even options for highlighting where the vehicle was picked up, where it was dropped off, and for easily identifying the damaged areas.

Custom Towing Invoice Form

At 8.5 x 5.5, this form is slim and easy to carry. However, it still offers plenty of fields for important information. Your company’s logo and information go at the very top, and there are fields for the time of the call, time started, time finished, customer information, vehicle information, the reason for the tow, damaged areas on the vehicle, and more. There are even areas for mileage, labor, and different payment methods. Towing Invoice Forms can be branded and custom printed with your logo and business information.

Tow Truck Invoice

At 11 x 8.5, this receipt provides lots of space, and there’s even room at the top for your company’s logo and information. There are standard areas for customer information, the vehicle makes, and model, VIN, and damage, and there’s a large area dedicated to payment methods and types, as well as for second tows, special equipment, type, and reason for a tow, and more.

Towing Road Service Book

If you’re looking for a convenient way to carry a lot of receipts at the same time in one handy bundle, this book is a great option. It measures 8.5 x 5.5, so there’s plenty of space but it’s still compact. It also comes with two carbon copies per original receipt, making it easier to keep your own records and ensure that your customer and other parties have a copy. There’s plenty of space for all of your important information, too.

Towing Service Invoice Book

Wider than the previous option, this book measures 8.5 x 8.5 and lacks carbon copies. However, there’s more room for information here, including a large empty space for driver remarks and comments. Your company’s name, logo, and contact information can be placed prominently at the top left.

As you can see, there are still plenty of manual towing receipt options out there that enable your drivers to record important information without the hassle of electronics or paperless billing.
