A dry cleaning form can be used as an invoice or receipt for cleaning work done on clothing. When clothes are dropped off at your dry cleaning facility, you have the option of taking payment immediately, in which case you issue a receipt for the payment or collect payment later when they are picked up. In the latter case, you would have issued an invoice. It helps in keeping proper bookkeeping records and also in identifying the clothing items. They are printed on carbonless paper and therefore duplicated where you can give the customer a copy and keep one for yourself.
The invoice or receipt is preprinted at the top with sections to capture the customer's name, address, and date. Below that you can select whether the items should be delivered, picked up and on what date the job will be completed. Write down the quantity and select the name of the item listed as coats, jackets, sweaters, slacks, dresses. skirts etc. You can write in the name if it is not listed. Note whether the items should be cleaned, pressed or repaired by the seamstress and write down the price of each.
After you write in the total price, there is a black area for you to write a note or terms of an agreement. "Silks cleaned & Dyed at Owner's Risk" is already preprinted.
You have the option of adding your business logo at the top along with your business name and address. Phone numbers, fax, email, and website can also be added.
